The top of Pike's Peak is 14,100 ft above sea level. Neglecting the variation of T with altitude and using the average surface temperature of 290K and the number average molecular weight of 29 for air, calculate the atmospheric pressure at the top of this mountain. Compare with the observed average value 446 torr. Show all calculations.
