The boundaries of the asteroid belt in our solar system are approximately defined by a 2:1 resonance and a 4:1 resonance with Jupiter. Additionally, resonances cause the Kirkwood gaps. Consider another solar system with a similar sized sun and an asteroid belt defined by the same resonances with a large Jovian as our solar system. Calculate the approximate boundaries in astronomical units of the asteroid belt in the other solar system assuming there exists a large Jovian with a period of 20 years beyond the asteroid belt.
