Question: A wheel of radius R, mass M and moment of inertia I is mounted on a horizontal axis without friction, as in the figure below. A light rope wrapped around the wheel holds an object of mass m. Calculate the angular acceleration of the wheel, the linear acceleration of the object, and the tension in the string.
