A moon rock is found to contain 500 g of 232Th and 100 g of 208Pb. Assuming that all of the lead has resulted from the decay of thorium and that the half-life for this process is 1.4x1010 years, calculate the age of the moon rock (i.e. how long ago since the thorium began to decay).
