Two tons per hour of coal containing 54.6 wt-% Carbon, 6.4 wt-% Hydrogen, 33.8 wt-% Oxygen, 0.4 wt-% Sulfur, 1.0 wt-% Nitrogen, and 3.8 wt-% Ash is to be burned with 10% excess air. Air enters the furnace at 15^oC, 1.1 atmospheres pressure, and 60% relative humidity, and the off gas leaves the furnace at 300^oC abd 24.6 inches of mercury pressure. Calculate the actual volumetric flow rate of air to the furnace, the composition of the off gas, and the relative humidity and dew point of the off gas. Assume complete combustion.
