Question: Mr Cat 30years, employed by LCN Ltd. Is a member of LCN medical aid scheme, his employer contributes R6000 per month on his behalf to LCN medical scheme. Mr Cat contribute a further R4000 per month.

Mr Cat is married out of community of property to Mrs Cat age 26. They have two minor kids. Mrs Cat and the kids are dependants on medical aid scheme.

In June 2022 Mr Cat was involved in a car accident, which resulted in him incurring qualifying medical expenses of R240 000 which were not covered by the medical aid scheme. Mr Cat also informs you that one of children is disabled.
