A 1.5m long cylindrical shaft has an external diameter of 60mm and an internal diameter of 30mm.The shaft is subjected to a torque of 1200-Nm.

If the modulus of rigidity of the shaft material G is 90 GPa, calculate:
(i) The maximum shear stress
(ii) The angle of twist in degrees
