At a particular temperature, 12.0 mol SO3(g) is placed into a 3.0 L rigid container, and SO3(g) dissociates by the reaction:

2SO3(g) ? 2SO2(g) + O2(g)

At equilibrium, 3.0 mol SO2(g) is present. Calculate for this reaction. What is the percent decomposition of SO3? (Answer: = 5.6 × 10-2 M; % decomposition = 25 %)
