Question - Fresco's is a small retailer selling food, clothing and household products. It has 500,000 issued shares.

- total sales in the year were £50m

- the company spent £30m on buying goods to sell in the year and 10% of these goods were unsold at the year end

- the company bought new premises during the year costing £50m.

Required - Calculate Fresco's profit for the year and earnings per share. Ignore tax.
