The name plate details at the rated conditions corresponding to a 2 pole, three phase induction motor are as follows: 60 Hz, 400 VL-L (RMS) , rated torque of 40 Nm at the rated speed of 3492 rpm. The stator resistance Rs is 0.25 Ω, and the stator as well as rotor leakage inductances are negligible. All losses except in the stator and rotor resistances can also be neglected. The reflected rotor resistance, Rr' is 0.3 Ω. The magnetizing current in each phase is 10 A (RMS). The motor is connected to a load with a torque TL = 5 + 0.08ω Nm , ω is the speed in rad/sec.

(a) Can this load be run by the above motor (and a PPU) at 1500 rpm? If no, give reasons. If yes, calculate the frequency and magnitude of the voltages to be applied to the stator and draw the corresponding per phase equivalent circuit.
(b) Can this load be run by the above motor (and a PPU) at 4100 rpm? If no, give reasons. If yes, calculate the frequency and magnitude of the stator voltages.
