Consider a linear cellular model with equi-spaced base-stations at distance 2d apart. With a reuse ratio of p, base-stations at distances of integer multiples of 2d/p reuse the same frequency band. Assuming that the interference emanates from the center of the cell, calculate the fraction fp defined as the ratio of the interference to the received power from a user at the edge of the cell. You can assume that all uplink transmissions are at the same transmit power P and that the dominant interference comes from the nearest cells reusing the same frequency.
