Transmission line A coaxial transmission line has characteristic impedance Z0 = 50 ohms and has length L = 200 m and phase velocity vp = 2.0e8 m/s. The end at x = 0 is terminated with Rs = 50 ohms and the end at x = L is terminated with RL = 75 ohms. At time t = 0, the central 2 meters of the cable (i.e., from x= 99 to x = 101 m) is charged to V = +2.0V while the rest of the transmission line is at zero volts. Calculate the voltage reflection coefficients Gamma S and Gamma L. Construct a bounce diagram of the system for t > 0 showing the behavior of all rising and falling edges traveling in either direction up to t = 1.6 mus. Calculate and show the amplitudes of all rising and falling edges. Sketch the voltage vs. time at the source over the same time interval.
