Consider the composite wall of Problem 2.53. In part (d), you are asked to sketch the temperature histories at x 0, L during the transient period between cases 2 and 3. Calculate and plot these histories using the finite-element method of FEHT, the finite-difference method of IHT (with ?x = 5 mm and ?t = 1.2 s), and/or an alternative procedure of your choice. If you use more than one method, compare the respective results. Note that, in using FEHT or IHT, a look-up table must be created for prescribing the variation of the heater flux with time (see the appropriate Help section for guidance).
