Fred's Quick Wheels has one bay dedicated to alignments. The garage normally is open only on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturdays from 7 a.m. to noon. An alignment and balancing takes an average of 50 minutes to complete, although Fred charges customers for 2 hours according to a nationally published mechanic’s labor-standard manual. During March, the height of pothole season, Fred's is open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
