Learning Outcome 1: Evaluate the role of warehousing in the management of an effective supply chain.

Learning Outcome 2: Design warehouse configurations by recognizing the advantages and disadvantages that alternative warehouse configurations can provide.

Learning Outcome 3: Distinguish the significance attached to order picking activities, its varying forms, and analyze improvement opportunities.

Learning Outcome 4: Analyze the IT opportunities that exist within the warehouse environment and discuss implementation issues.

Assignment Objective

The assignment aims to check if students understand the roles of warehousing in a supply chain and the different types of warehouses thereof. It also assists in checking the understanding of warehouse operations. Moreover to analyze the Influence of IT within the warehouse.
