Question

Business process models are important at various stages of the business process life cycle and before starting to model a process, it is crucial to understand why we are modeling it. First, it may be simply to understand the process and share our understanding of the process with the people who are involved with the process on a daily basis. Second, process modeling helps to better understand and to prevent issues. This step of process modeling is a prerequisite to conduct process analysis, redesign or automation. With this understanding the concepts of process modeling we will be able to produce a business process that captures simple temporal and logical relationships between activities, data objects and resources. 3.7 Further Exercises Model two (2) Business Processes 1.
