Learning Activity: Environment Analysis and Actions for Managers Discussion
Please read Assessment 1 Brief prior to completing this activity. This learning activity is to be completed and included as part of your group discussions for Assessment 1.
1. In groups, explore the business environment and impacts for managers.
2. Each group member is then required to (individually) conduct a brief analysis of their organisation's (or a well-known organisation's) internal and external environment using the table below. You must consider at least 6 elements across the internal, task and external/general environments. Some examples may include staff, management, culture, customers, suppliers, regulators, political, economic, social, technology, environment and legal or others you think of.

3. As you complete this activity, take note of how managers in different industries may be impacted and the possible actions they would take. This may be useful for your written report in Assessment 1.
4. Please write your response using no more than 250 words. This is in addition to the analysis in your table and should include brief details on your chosen organisation, its challenges and the key points from your analysis.
5. Post your analysis in your group's discussion forum.
Comment (using 100-200 words) on the posts from other group members and encourage each other to think deeply.
