BUS Z-506 Leadership in Action
There is an amazing amount of material related to leadership, teams, motivation, performance, ethics, culture, change and other key topics related to organizational effectiveness. This is your chance to research an issue of concern and apply the concept in your own setting, hopefully in order to improve the effectiveness of your group in some way.
So, select an area of concern:
- Teamwork
- Communication
- Conflict management
- Organizational culture
- Diversity
- A current change initiative
- Coaching and/or performance issue
- Stress management
- Leadership development
Try to improve it, and write about your experience. At minimum, your paper should include:
Question 1: Identification of the problem, background of the situation
Question 2: Exploration and review of the current literature related to this issue (make sure to cite sources)
Question 3: A plan for how to address the problem (intervention)
Question 4: A description of your role and the outcome
Question 5: A critical reflection of the experience: (strengths - what went well, your level of satisfaction; weaknesses - what could have been better),
Question 6: What you have learned from the experience and how you will use this information going forward.
