INTERVIEW WITH AN ENTREPRENEUR
Your assignment is to interview an "entrepreneur." This requires you to select someone who is an entrepreneur, prepare interview questions, arrange for a face-to-face interview, then following the interview, prepare a three to four-page (typed, 12 pt font, double-spaced) submission (the "Interview Report") on key pieces of information obtained and your thoughts concerning the interview as outlined below. Submit the 1) "Interview Report", and as appendices : 2) your prepared questions, and 3), the "Entrepreneur Fact Sheet" on the due date.
*Remember - I am most interested to learn about what you think. Be sure to share your thoughts about the comments made by your entrepreneur. Do not just repeat the words of your interviewee!
Some relevant issues to address in your report may be:
1. Is my interviewee an entrepreneur? Why?
2. What characteristics did my interviewee think are key to success? Do you agree?
3. What apprenticeship route has the interviewee taken to get to where they are today? Could it have been improved upon? Why did it work?
4. What is unique about the route your interviewee took to achieve success?
5. What entrepreneurial skills does your interviewee have that you would like to implement in your own life?
6. What entrepreneurial skills do you feel your interviewee could improve upon?
7. Any other topics that relate to course material.
