BUMGT2601 Managerial Skills - Federation University

Learning Contract/Action Plan (LC/AP) information:

- The LC/AP is to be submitted via the Moodle link before the Sundaythat follows week 4.

- Each student must choose one managerial skill they wish to develop. The managerial skill must be selected from the topics identified in the lecture schedule.

- Your LC/AP requires:
o A clear, concise and measurable aim (eg: what you are attempting to achieve by the conclusion of the LC/AP)
o A rationale (eg: why you have chosen the skill)
o Pre & Post-test measures (eg: how you will measure your current skill level and your level of improvement at the conclusion of the LC/AP)
o A table showing weekly action steps with (a minimum) five sourced theories using academic sources (1 theory each week over a 5-week period), briefly explaining the theory and an expected outcome. (NOTE: websites are not considered academic sources)
o A reference list showing the (minimum) five cited sources in your action steps.

- Your skill can come from any of the topics in our lecture schedule as long as you can measure it and find relevant theories to attempt in your action steps. There are no extra marks provided for particular topics, it is up to you to choose a skill you want to explore and develop over a five-week period.
