Part Determine Construction Compliance Requirements
Identify Applicable National Construction Code (NCC) Performance Requirements
This task requires you to identify the performance requirements of chosen building properties and performance solutions for each performance requirement.
You must complete Task 1.1 first before proceeding with this task.
Steps to take:1. Access and review the building project plans from Task 1.1.2. Locate the Performance Solution Identification form provided for you on the following pages. The Performance Solution Identification form includes questions related to the performance requirements of the building project plans you will need to answer.Review the instructions here and in the Performance Solution Identification form with your supervisor before starting so you can prepare for the questions.3. Using the Performance Solution Identification form, identify one performance requirement for each of the following building property of each building in the project plans:i. Energy efficiencyii. Services and equipmentiii. Fire protectioniv. Health and amenityv. Structurevi. Access and egressvii. Ancillary provisions4. For each performance requirement identified, identify the following:i. One Deemed-to-Satisfy solution.ii. One Performance Solution5. Have your supervisor review your completed Performance Solution Identification form and complete and sign the Supervisor Declaration at the end. Their signature must be handwritten.
