Question: When talking about different sectors of the trauma-informed movement, such as education, justice system, health, faith groups, and cities/communities. Your task for this assignment is to create a persuasive PowerPoint presentation with one of the above groups (or another group of your choosing) as your target audience. The goal of your presentation is to persuade your audience of the importance of trauma-informed practices in that particular sector. For example, you might choose as your audience teachers at a local elementary school or a group of supervisors in your city's police department. Will not need to actually present to anyone. Rather, your PowerPoint is an exercise in building an argument about the value of being trauma informed.

Your PowerPoint will consist of 10-12 slides (including the title and references slides), and the content of the slides will be up to you. However, you must include the following basic elements:

A self-introduction (and perhaps why trauma-informed care is important to you)

Definition of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and the ACE study

An overall description of the effects of toxic stress and a dysregulated stress response system on brain development and functioning
The effects of toxic stress on social, emotional, and cognitive development in children
The connection between a dysregulated stress system and physical and mental health across the lifespan
Specific recommendations of trauma-informed practices in the particular sector that can serve as protective factors
