This assignment requires you to build a Web Site for the Plant World Co.. The finished web site will include a home page and a second, Desert page.

OBJECTIVES:

1. Create a home page

2. Insert and format images

(a) Using image tags

(b) Adjusting the size and/or dimensions of an image

(d) Wrap text around an image

(e) Add alt text to an image

(f) Add a background image

3. Insert and format links

(a) Add a text link to a Web page on another Web site

(b) Add a text link to a Web page in the same Web site

(d) Add an image link to a Web page in the same Web site

4. Format text
(a) Align and add bold, italics, and color to text
(b) Change the bullet type

CREATING HOME PAGE

1. Open Notepad and enter html tags to create a home page for Plant World.

2. Type <title>Plant World Home Page</title> in the head section of the document.

3. Save as Plant World.html

4. Using any Heading Tag in the body section type "Plant World" as text.

5. Using image tag, add any plant image and set image's dimensions accordingly.

6. Use any Heading Tag (just make sure not to use the same Heading tag which you have used in Step :4) and type "Welcome to Plant World!", and make the text color Purple.

7. Use <p> tag to write the paragraph.

8. Use any Heading Tag (just make sure not to use the same Heading tag which you have used in Step :4 and 6) and type in Red color "Our Company".

9. Use list tag to add 3 lists.

10. Repeat step 8 and 9 for the text "Our Services".

11. Use paragraph tag and add the text given in the screenshot in Figure 1. In this paragraph, for the first line, the text "Desert Plants" is a hyperlink, where you will click and it will redirect you to the second desert page. (Make sure you add the correct linked file address here)Also make this hyperlink color purple.

12. In the same paragraph, for the second line, use e-mail tag for the text "this ID"

13. Save you work and preview it.

CREATING SECOND PAGE

1. Open Notepad and enter html tags to create a home page for Plant World.

2. Type <title>Desert Plants</title> in the head section of the document.

3. Save as Desert Plants.html

4. Use any heading tag and add the text "Desert Plants", make this text's color Green.

5. Add any desert plant image and apply the dimensions.

6. Use any heading tag (don't use same heading tag you have used in step

4) and add the text "For Arid Environments.

7. Use any heading tag (don't use same heading tag you have used in step 4 and 6) and add the text "Desert Southwest Planting".

8. Use paragraph tag and add the text given in Figure 2.

9. Use heading tag to add the text "Types of plants" 10.Use list tag and add 4 lists.

11.Save you work and preview it.

Before submitting test all links, if they are working correctly.

To submit the assessment: Make a folder with the name "Assignment 1", add both files in that folder. First file name "Plant World" and other "Desert". Also add the screenshot of both output pages in the same folder.
