Data Collection and Analysis Report
By now, relevant data should have been collected. The objective of this Data Collection Report is to provide comprehensive summary of the data collection and analysis process and initial findings from the data. The patterns observed from the data and its relevance to the project problem should be identified and explained. The structure of the report should be decided by students, and should include: The relevance of data for the project problem being addressed, Data collection and analysis techniques, How data collection and analysis will inform the solution proposed to address the project problem, and the Execution plan for the completion of the project. The report should also provide rich insights and justification regarding any changes from Project 1. This report should be brief and created with an aim to convince the client that the project problem is beingsystemically addressed. A good documentation of data collection and analysis provides a good justification for project outcomes, and forms an important part of the final project report.
Project Objective
This Project aim is to build a Stock Management & Scheduling System in order to manage its stock orders with independent suppliers and maintain a delivery schedule so it can effectively plan staffing requirement for stocking and maintenance.
Desired Outcomes
- Understand the Aradhya Pty Ltd.'s requirements and document the processes to implement proposed Stock Management &Scheduling solution
- The new system must be scalable and easily adaptable to changing requirements
Project Scope
1. Design of the system should ensure that the developed system can be scaled for future enhancements
2. Project documentation for the system process requirements
3. Maintain Stock orders data within the databaselinked with the independent suppliers
4. Integrate the stock order delivery schedules with the staff roster system to forecast the staffing requirement
5. Implement a notification mechanism that sends email alerts and SMS notifications twice weekly to stock maintenance team & the rostering manager
6. Implement a notification mechanism to inform the supplier about the impending order fulfilment
7. Also make provision to record changes if there are delays in order fulfilment by the suppliers& notify stock maintenance team & the rostering manager
Administration
- Maintain Stock Order details
- Maintain Independent Supplier details
- Maintain Delivery Schedule for adhoc orders
Stock Information/SchedulingManagement
- Stock Order Information is recorded with product line, supplier and delivery details as some of the key attributes
- Record and manage the delivery schedules
- Based on the delivery schedules manage staffing demands
- Notification mechanisms for both internal stakeholders and suppliers
Improve Scheduling & Tracking Data
- Track Stock orders &auto generated reports for inventory team
- Track Delivery Schedules & send staff requirements for Rostering manager
- Generate end of the month reports for Stock Orders and Delivery Schedules
Constraints and Assumptions
- Agile Methodology will be practiced to understand the business requirements better to deliver quality product
- Product is delivered in CMMI standards
- Performance tuning of the system needs to be performed in the warranty period
- Penetration and or security recommendations will be provided at the end of the project
