1) Critically evaluate alternative hardware and software platforms and environments for developing handheld and mobile games.

2) Understand and apply advanced concepts and techniques for mobile and handheld application and game development.

3) Develop, test and optimise a game, which exploits mobile communication and advanced technologies, for deployment on a variety of portable systems.

Scenario - You are required to build a "HUNGRY BUNNY ON A MAGICAL PATH" game that has a Hungry Bunny as main character. All students are requested to follow the given scenario to accomplish their assignment.

Game Design Documentation Requirements -

A game design document is the blueprint from which a game is to be built. As such, every single detail necessary to build the game should be addressed. My recommendation is that you define the ultimate game and then clarify what it is that you have developed.

You should consider the following points while writing your game design document.

Storyboard of the game that should have at least the following characters:-

- HUNGRY BUNNY

- FRUITS

- BACKGROUND

- PATH

Discussion on the advance concepts and techniques applied in the game.

Class diagram together with a discussion of the classes used in the application. The discussion should include a critical appraisal of the code you have written.

Activities, Layouts and Resources used.

Workflow of the program.

Screen shots of the testing.

Discussion on the variety of mobile platforms on which you can deploy this application.

Note: Do not copy and paste the XML and Java source code of the android application in the assignment report.

Demonstration Details: A demonstration of the implementation will take place towards the end of the module.

In demonstrating this assignment, you should be able to prove your skills in applying the knowledge gained in the lectures and tutorials, skills in analysis, problem solving and elucidate the purpose of the functions and code blocks used in developing the android application.

You will need to demonstrate the following operations:

1- Deploying the application on emulator and real mobile device.

2- Explain the storyboard and its implementation in the application

3- Answering the questions related to the application development.
