Assessment Task

You are required to select a company with its headquarters in the UK operating either solely in the UK or globally. Your choice of company can either be in the manufacturing or retail sectors. Adapting a critical analysis approach you will examine company innovation through its design, development and implementation. You are therefore required to select two key company innovations and produce a report detailing the effectiveness of these innovations and their contribution to company efficiency taking into account the important areas of profitability and growth.

You are therefore required to provide a critical evaluation of the following:

Part 1: The relationship between innovation design, development and implementation and it relevancy to your chosen company.

Part 2: Identification of potential barriers which might impede the progress of your two chosen innovations.

Part 3: The importance of the management role to the innovation process.

Part 4: Identification of one innovation which your chosen company is developing and its potential impact on company growth.

Part 5: Presentation of report: structure, grammar, APA referencing and punctuation.
