Performance objective
You will demonstrate the ability, knowledge and skills to identify and evaluate the range of marketing communications options and media in regards to the case study - a project to create ‘crowd' interest in the documentary to show possible investors for this groundbreaking Australian Story: You only Live Twice in Havana.
Assessment 1 - Part 1:
In response to You Only Live Twice in Havana case study and the project described, you will need to demonstrate current fundamental knowledge of integrated marketing communications by completing the following knowledge test.
You are encouraged to undertake research around the questions and where applicable, provide references for your sources.
Question 1
What particular economic, social and industry trends would be considered relevant to the choice of appropriate media options for the You only Live Twice in Havana case study?

Assessment 1 - Part 2:
In response to You only Live Twice in Havana case study and the attached client interview transcript, team members will meet to discuss the marketing communication requirements from the client for the project. During the discussions the following areas will be determined:
Procedure
1. Read through You Only Live Twice in Havana case study to familiarise yourselves with the scenario.
2. Undertake research and individually complete the integrated marketing communications knowledge test acknowledging references and sources.
3. Review the attached client interview on page 12, and complete the Marketing communication requirements table.Task 2: Develop marketing communication brief
Performance objective
You will demonstrate knowledge and skills required to first analyse the You Only Live Twice in Havana case study and then develop a marketing communication brief from the information you gathered and identified in assessment task 1.
Procedure
1. Read through the You Only Live Twice in Havana case study and the answers and responses you developed for both parts of assessment task 1.
2. Develop a marketing communication brief using the attached template (A).
3. Submit the completed marketing communication brief.
Task 3: Develop Creative Brief
Performance objective
Using the knowledge, you have gained in assessment task 2, you will now demonstrate knowledge and skills to develop a creative brief for You Only Live Twice in Havana case study, using the attached template B.
Assessment description
Following on from Assessment 2, you are now required to use your gained knowledge of the You Only Live Twice in Havana case study and the marketing communications brief to develop a creative brief which will guide the creative message and the selected media vehicles. To do this you will fill out the creative brief Template B.
Procedure
