Step 1
Using the Human Resources Strategic Plan template provided, you need to complete the following:

How would you run consultation process with stakeholders?

Using PowerPoint or a presentation tool of your choice develop the presentation to include the information discussed in the Human Resources Strategic Analysis Report and also the Human Resources Strategic Plan. This will also need to include key points on ethical behaviour, confidentiality and related legislation
identified in the Human Resources Strategic Analysis Report. You will need to include the actions that need to be implemented.
Create an engaging presentation that:
has a logical flow to the presentation: introduction, topic information and conclusion or call to action
contains key information from the Human Resources Strategic Analysis Report (including ethical behaviour, confidentiality and related legislation)
contains key information from the Human Resources Strategic Plan
keep the text on the slides to a minimum
use clear and easy to read font
use relevant images and animation

pitched at the right level, not too technical and not too simple, so it doesn't come across as patronising

Write delivery notes to support your presentation, so you have a structured and professional delivery. Notes need to include an introduction and address key points to be discussed so that information on the slides is minimal, including possible questions and answers, where attendees can go for further information and have a conclusion or call to action.

During the consultation session, you are to utilise active listening and questioning techniques to gather feedback from the attendees regarding any possible improvements and negotiate with attendees on any modifications.

Assessment Task 3: Deliver Human Resource Services
PART A: NEGOTIATE SERVICE ARRANGEMENTS
Step 1
Using the client scenario attached with the email as a guide, complete a Goods and Services Contract (provided as an attachment in the email) for the services Horton & Smith wants to utilise.
Within the Goods and Services Contract, you are to complete the first page ensuring that you document:
who the purchaser is and who the supplier of the services are
CBSA's ABN number
the commencement date of the agreement
that you are the contract manager
that James Horton is the representative from Horton & Smith
details of the services they require
when these services must be delivered by
the price for these services (you should calculate the total by using the hours given in the scenario and the prices for these services in the Business Plan)
other relevant information required for the contract can be created based on:
research, such as types of business insurance and liability limits
meeting discussion, such as milestones based on negotiated dates leading up to delivery date or post-delivery date for templates, materials, expiry date of the contract, support coordination, etc.
Step 2
Meet with the client to negotiate the service contract. The assessor will organise the time and place for the meeting. For the purpose of this negotiation, the assessor or another student will play the role of James Horton. During the meeting, you must complete the following:
Provide an overview of Goods and Services Contract, including the agreement details on the first page, and the confidentiality clauses in the contract.
Gain additional information to completed relevant areas of the contract.
Negotiate and ensure the agreement is in place between CBSA and Horton & Smith.
Discuss how the relevant support with be coordinated and quality control maintained.
During the meeting, your assessor will be looking to see that you can demonstrate the following:

To get feedback from the clients regarding the services they have received, you will need to develop a survey. This can be through an online or electronic questionnaire such as survey monkey, adobe acrobat form, internet SharePoint form, etc.
The survey should include at least six questions that:

has a client's details section which provides space to record:

what services they received
the date the survey was taken
can gauge the client satisfaction:
allows answers based on a five-point scale
allows clients to suggest possible improvements or other services.
Note: Your will need to evaluate the responses and create graphical representation in the next task.

Using the template available via the CBSA website, create an email for the survey and send the email to five clients (you will need to send this to five of your classmates to complete) and copy Glenda Williams, include the link to the online survey with a due date for completion.

Once you have finished your meeting, you will swap roles with the other students until all students have led a meeting to discuss their recommendations and the approval for these.
The assessor will organise the time and place for the meeting. During the meeting, you must complete the following:
Provide an overview of the recommendations you have made.
Discuss and gain agreement from attendees on how to implement changes based on the recommendations.
Step 2
Based on the results of the meeting and agreements made. Using the template available via the CBSA website, send out an email to all staff and copy Glenda Williams. The email must specify:
