Assessment overview
To achieve the requirements of the unit BSBHRM505 Manage remuneration and employee benefits, you are required to complete the four (4) mandatory assessment tasks included in this unit in chronological order.
By completing these assessment tasks, you will be assessed on your knowledge and your ability to:
• Develop remuneration strategies for different occupational groups
• Manage remuneration and benefits in accordance with all legislative and ethical requirements and operational policies
• Apply awards and agreements to remuneration processes
• Apply requirements of the Australian taxation office in relation to income tax, superannuation reporting, FBT and bonus payments.
Assessment 1 - Written Activities
Your task is to carefully read and consider each of the following eight (8) activities. Answer each in their correct order and submit your responses to your assessor. To complete this assessment task, you will need to access to a computer with an internet connection to conduct research as required.

List five (5) mandatory and five (5) non-mandatory components that may form part of a benefits package.
Problem 4
List four (4) basic strategies that an employer could implement in becoming an employer of choice.

When you are in charge of managing remuneration and employee benefits, you must do so in accordance with organisational policies and procedures. Access the policies and procedures that will impact remuneration as GSE listed in the table below and provide a summary of each.

When you are managing employee remuneration and benefits you must you must ensure that you do so in line with legislative and regulatory requirements.
