Assessment Event 2 - Blue Tongue College Simulation
In this assessment, you will undertake a number of tasks associated with developing and managing tasks to achieve organizational objectives associated with Blue Tongue College operations.
Task 1: Develop Operational Plan
In this task, you will analyses the relevant information provided then you will develop an Operational Plan for weeks 9 - 21 which is the remainder of the term for the College. These documents for analysis include the College's policies and procedures, data on attendance, learning and assessment materials, and Trainer and Support Officer performance. You will then seek approval to implement your Operational Plan.

Task 2: Plan and manage resource acquisition
In this task, you will prepare for the acquisition of resources listed in Task 1.5 that will be required to achieve the Operational Plan. This involves the coordination of the supply of electronic whiteboards and the preparation for the recruitment of the additional Trainer. This is achieved by the student delegating the tasks to their staff.

Task 3: Monitor operational performance
In this task, you will develop a system to monitor performance with your Operational Plan. You will then analyse the latest data provided by your Assessor and enter these results into your Performance Monitoring System. You will then email your Manager to address issues emerging from the results. One of these strategies is to meet with the staff to provide support in their professional development. Following on from this meeting, you will then meet with your Manager and seek approval to adjust Operational Plan and Budget to meet these new strategies. You will then use this feedback and update and add new tasks to your Performance Monitoring System.
