Read the following two papers
Paper 1: Scope management complexity in software
Paper 2: WORK BREAKDOWN STRUCTURE - ATOOL then carry out the following steps:
1. Summarise what each paper is about and how the two papers interrelate with each other, in matters of scope planning.
2. Analyse the 2 papers to bring out the scope planning concepts that would help you to infer an approach that clearly defines the project's work breakdown structure to deliver your eBorder system solution or product. Describe this approach , supported with a visual process model. (You will also need to read the eBorder Assignment Brief and perhaps research other relevant publications about the case study)
3. There are three methodologies (notably PMBOKTh" , the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) and the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) 4.6), each defining its own scope planning approach. Research these methodologies and choose two to understand their scope planning approaches. Using a comparison matrix and with clearly defined comparison criteria, evaluate how effective these two scope planning approaches are, compared to your inferred model. From the comparison, decide whether you would simply adopt one or creatively improvise a better approach to define your eBorder product and work scope specifications.
4. Your draft working paper documenting your find ngs of step 1 to 3, may be several pages ong. Apply your high school precis writing skills to post a forum posting (<=700 words) that:
Post your own critique of the 2 papers responding to the criteria summarised below.
a. Summarise the two papers, clearing identifying their project management concepts that you used to infer an appropriate scope planning approach for your eBorder project assignment.
b. Describe briefly the inferred scope planning approach, supported with a visual process model.
c. In a comparison matrix, compare your inferred scope planning model with those of the chosen two methodologies.
d. From your comparison findings, recommend your choice of scope planning approach, supported by a visual diagram.
