Your submission for this assessment should be in professional essay format, and it should follow the predetermined layout and required contents as stated in the Section "Report structure" (on pages 2 to 3 of this specification document). Your report will be checked by Turnitin for any similarities and misconduct. Please ensure that you are familiar with and adhere to the University's Plagiarism Policy.
Required Tasks
Assume that the waterfall model has been chosen for implementing the new system for MetaLokal project. You may also assume that some programs have been written and are ready, whereas some other programs are not yet ready. Complete the following tasks and document your work in your submission:
User Interface Design:
Develop the GUI design based on the use cases. You can be creative but only an indicative GUI is required. Develop a complete set of wireframes for all screens to cover all use cases. Developers are free to use this design and may do things differently.
Testing:
Identify (and explain why) which types of testing are applicable to the new MetaLokal system.
For each applicable type of testing identified in (a) above, discuss in detail the following aspects:
Phases of the SDLC, this type of testing is conducted in.
Procedures for applying this type of testing.
Main stakeholders involved in this type of testing.
Deployment strategies:
Which system deployment option is most appropriate in this case and how to apply it? Justify your selection.
Since it is a new system, what techniques the project team can implement to help end-users be familiar with the operation of the new system. For each of these techniques, discuss its advantages and disadvantages.
