Homework: Psychology
This journaling homework provides an opportunity for you to explore your individual thoughts, experiences and emotions through the Internal Family Systems (IFS) lens. It involves introspection and self-awareness. The purpose of this homework is to increase your cognizance of how the therapist's (your) parts can become activated and interfere with treatment effectiveness. Do not feel obligated to disclose events you are not comfortable sharing (e.g. details of impactful or traumatic experiences) but strive to provide some context. This homework should be approximately 2-4 pages in length (not including cover page).
Be sure to take a moment to review the rubric attached.
For this journal include an introduction that sets the stage for the reflection, thoroughly address the questions below and then write a conclusion that summarizes the key takeaways you gleaned from this homework.
