The Research Paper is 4 pages, double spaced paper. For the Research Paper you will select 3 major American cities that are relevant to your selected topic. The Research Paper must include an introduction, theoretical statement of the problem (as laid out in the analytical paper), using the cities the problem will be examined, followed by a summary and conclusion.
The summary will briefly review the basis for the conclusion. Each paper will choose three cities and compare data on those cities as it relates to the research topic.
6 peer reviewed sources, 2 mainstream news stories about the topic, 1 news stories about the topic from each city's media outlets are needed in the paper.
Relevant Census Bureau data should also be used in the paper. This means the full paper will feature 6 peer reviewed topics and 5 news stories.
