Capstone Project - Coursera (Category - SME). This project is related to AWS Cloud project.

Prepare the Synopsis.

Capstone Project Grading policy is as follows:

Synopsis Submission

1. Details of the Business Use cases, i.e Proposed solution for the problem statement without getting into Technical details

2. Role of Cloud, identification of right fit of cloud services, usage of multiple services

3. Effort, Cost, Assumptions, Risk

Capstone Synopsis

Synopsis, preferably, should be of about 2-3 pages. The content should be as brief as is sufficient enough to explain the objective and implementation of the project that the team is going to take up. The write up must adhere to the guidelines and should include the following.

Name / Title of the Project:
This should be explicitly mentioned at the beginning of the Synopsis. Since the "Title" itself gives a peep into the project to be taken up, team is advised to be prudent on naming the project. This being the overall impression on the future work, the topic should corroborate the work.

Objective / Problem Statement:
This should give a clear picture of the objective of the project. What problem is being addressed, or what functionality is being offered to the end user with this project.

Proposed Solution:
This should briefly explain the proposed solution for addressing above objective, without getting into technical details. While writing this section please remember this is for the business users (end users) , and NOT for the technical team.

Support this with a LOGICAL Architecture diagram / Flowchart to explain the flow of information.

Role of Cloud:
List out Cloud Services you are planning to use to solve this use case, along with a brief description for selecting that service. Map these services to the Logical Architecture / Flowchart shared in the previous section.

Assumptions & Risks:
List out any assumptions considered for the project or any risks which you foresee along with the mitigation plan.

Effort & Cost Analysis:
A high level Effort & Cost analysis of the project. This should be a doable use case in the time available for this exercise as well as your budget constraints.

Conclusion:
The synopsis should conclude with identifying the following points:
1. Real world impact - What impact this project brings in the real world?
2. Any innovation in the approach for implementing the project
3. Main achievements, i.e. your learning goals from the project.
