Over the last few decades, ADHD diagnosis rates have increased in all age groups, including among adults. First, describe how you think Szasz would explain rapidly rising rates of ADHD diagnoses in the United States. Question 5- According to Metzl in Protest Psychosis, diagnoses of schizophrenia increased among black men in the 1960's. Using your own words, briefly explain the main reasons why schizophrenia diagnoses became more common among black men at that time. Were more black men developing mental disorders during this time? If not, what was going on?
