Case Study: Let's imagine that you work in a marketing agency in Østfold that deals with various tasks within marketing. Your specialty is in various eateries.
Let's imagine that a large food hall "Food from Østfold" is opened in Halden. The food hall will be a common place for the best local eateries in Østfold. Mathallen is considering establishing itself first in Halden and later elsewhere in Østfold, e.g. Sarpsborg, Fredrikstad and Moss.
An eatery that you know well from before contacted you so that you could either help this place enter the Mathallen as one of the best eateries on the market, or that you create a marketing strategy for the company to be prepared for the competitive situation on the market.
You can decide for yourself whether you make:
a marketing strategy in the time perspective of 1 year so that the eatery you know enters the Mathallen, in other words becomes a winner on the local market, or you create a marketing strategy in the time perspective of 1 year to become stronger on the market due to a tougher competitive situation after the Mathallen is opened. (50%)
