Brief Presentation Assignment - External RAM Controller

In this example, the MCU 8052 uses an external RAM component to write and read values from it.

The 8052 uses the Address bus to pass the address to the RAM chip. The address is also displayed on the Address Hex Display. In the same manner, values are passed to the Data Bus and displayed on the Data Hex Display.

Values written to the RAM chip can be verified by looking into the RAM memory view window.

Select Simulate >> Run to simulate. The Logic Analyzer displays the timing diagram of the address and control lines.

1- MCU 8052& external ram controller.

2 - Describe all components in the figure.

3 - Interfacing with ram controller and (pins connected to MCU wich pins and it's function)

4 - Presentation should be briefed (6 slides max).
