Some more specific questions to consider when brainstorming a thesis:

Are pleasure and enjoyment the only things that are intrinsically good for a human being, or are there other things that are also intrinsically good for a human being? If so, what are those other things? Is it intrinsically good for you to be just or morally good, or not? If it isn't intrinsically good for you to be just or morally good, are justice and moral goodness mere instrumental goods? Or is there some other reason to be just and morally good, independent of its being good for you? Is it possible for something you never know about, and that never affects your experience of life, to be good or bad for you? Is it intrinsically good for us to get things that we want, independently of whether those things bring us pleasure once we get them? Is knowledge/true belief intrinsically good for you, or is knowledge only good insofar as it helps us to acquire something else we want or insofar as we get pleasure from it? Are autonomy or independence intrinsically good for you, or are they only good insofar as they tend to make people's experiences more enjoyable? Is it intrinsically good to engage in creative work, or to achieve something, or are these things only good insofar as they bring us pleasure or enable us to acquire some other good things? Are loving others, or being loved, intrinsically good, or are these things only good insofar as they serve to bring us pleasure and security? If pleasure and enjoyment are the only things that are good, what explains why so many people feel instinctively that things like moral goodness, knowledge, achievement, and love are intrinsically good?
