In a given strand of DNA, how do you determine which strand is the coding strand and which strand is the template strand? Please let me know step by step the way you determine it. My teacher has switched the top and bottom strands so sometimes the top strand will read 3' to 5' and sometimes the top will read 5' to 3'. Thank you!
