Assessment - For this module you will complete two assignments based on the Research Project.
Assessment 1 - You are required to undertake a sustained piece of academic work on a negotiated topic that you agree with your module tutor. This proposal will need to be on a topic related to your intended area of future study. Project Plan must present your whole project idea which you will carry on in your next assessment for completing your project.
Project Plan: A project plan based on your area of interest (500 words)
The plan should provide:
An overview of project idea.
Project aims and objectives.
Problem Statement
A precise literature reviews based on existing literature and secondary research related to your topic and relevant key sources which will be used for your project.
A conclusion and time guideline for each activity involved in completing your project (Schedule of project activities). Discuss the format you will use to complete your project. For example, you could choose to be assessed by a written report, film, a series of blog entries or a portfolio with reflections.
Assessment 2 - You are required to continue your project based on your proposed project plan. The project should be submitted in the format as agreed in your project plan and your project must cover the following:
Executive summary.
Background of chosen topic.
Project aims and objectives
A detailed literature review based on existing literature and secondary data related to your topic.
Demonstrate the problems you identified in the area of interest during the project.
Conclusion and recommendations.
