Question

Among persons with hypertension, the study was implemented to test the effect of nurse case managers on the blood pressure and satisfaction with care in an outpatient setting. The care of the persons in Clinic A was supplemented by the services of a nurse case manager while persons being seen in Clinics B received usual care. The pretest data on blood pressure and satisfaction were collected from both groups before the nurse case manager was added. The posttest data were collected from all participants after 1 year of care.
