TH is a 51-year-old Caucasian male who was selected due to his non-compliance with taking his blood pressure medication. TH came to the convenient care clinic stating his blood pressure was elevated and he needed his medication refilled. He then stated he needed his blood pressure medication refilled so he could be cleared for work in order to receive health insurance. On the day of this visit, his employer told him his blood pressure was too high and that he was not medically cleared for health insurance that day. TH had a history of not following up with his family doctor and had been into the convenient care clinic three previous times in the past two years to get his blood pressure medication refilled despite being told by the convenient care providers that they do not refill blood pressure medications. TH also did not follow up with his family physician to get the blood pressure medications refilled. He had been dismissed from one family physician due to missing appointments. It had been 18 months since his last family physician appointment.
