Blanche and Dorothy enter into an agreement for the sale of Dorothy’s lawn furniture. Blanche, the purchaser in the transaction, pays Dorothy with a check for $500. The check reads: “Pay to the Order of Dorothy Zbornak”. A few days later, Rose offers Dorothy dog walking services for $250 a month. Dorothy decides to pay for two months in advance and gives the $500 check she received from Blanche to Rose as payment for the dog walking services.
