Sarah is a 34-year-old patient who recently had a stroke and is suffering from aphasia. She has been in the hospital for three weeks and her family said she appears to be upset and is refusing to eat. You walk into her room to check her vital signs, but she refuses to cooperate. She becomes visibly upset when she tries to speak but is unable to do so. Her frustration causes her to cry uncontrollably. As a nurse, what do you do? How do you handle the situation?
