I have been tasked with creating a presentation to give to an elderly community in a senior living center. the presentation is on the Healthy Heart. My first objective was to interview experts in the field of heart care and compile the data to find out what the community needs are related to this topic. I then have to identify a conceptual framework to use for the curriculum and determine how major concepts are threaded throughout the curriculum. My third objective is to develop a educational lesson plan on the healthy heart with learning objectives, outline, teaching strategy, powerpoint and speaker notes, and handouts. My last objective is to develop an evaluation tool to use with the audience at the end of the presentation. I am having trouble getting organized, confused by the conceptual model portion of this project and in desperate need of some simplistic instructions with guidance to follow so that I can complete this project.
