An aqueous solution of hydrochloric acid is titrated with a 0.2500 M solution of sodium hydroxide. The neutralization of hydrochloric acid with sodium hydroxide produces an aqueous solution of sodium chloride at the equivalence point. The concentration of the resulting sodium chloride solution was 0.2143 M. What is the best estimate of the concentration of the hydrochloric acid used to do the titration?
