For this assignment, you have been tasked as the director of operations for a global company to create a video presentation outlining the necessity for implementing a new strategy for outsourcing to reduce your waste footprint.

Your argument should assume that utilizing global sources that are environmentally friendly would be more beneficial to the organization in developing a more green and less wasteful company.

You can create a fictitious company that manufactures a product that may be more hazardous than what is available on a global scale by today's standards. For example, you may create a company called "Roll With It" that produces tires. Tires are notoriously detrimental to the environment, but new processes reduce the environmental impact of both the manufacturing and recycling of the materials utilized in tires. Therefore, by using a global community, you may acquire the materials or use different manufacturing processes to reduce environmental damage. Furthermore, you may be able to implement recycling initiatives based on the global need for the materials or re-utilization of the product, reducing the ecological damage caused by direct disposal.

In your video, be sure to cover the following two themes:

• The environmental benefits of using the global community to reduce waste and ecological damage
• The benefits the organization will yield from becoming more environmentally friendly
