Need a written review of scientific literature. Need a search in the scientific literature on the selected topic in the JOVE platform in the "Research" area, you can also find scientific articles in PubMed, and the CAI databases. The subject should be the use of molecular techniques such as PCR and electrophoresis as studied in class and which are in the syllabus to determine the water quality of a body of fresh water such as rivers or lakes anywhere in the world. Only the use of scientific articles, not Internet pages, as references is allowed. They must be scientific articles of 5 years or less. It must be from a peer-reviewed scientific journal. Must be referenced and cite correctly in CSE format.

1. Introduction: briefly explain the organism that you want to detect with molecular techniques and if it causes any disease, why you chose it and summarize in at least two paragraphs your criticism of the article and research carried out. Give a brief background.

2. Subtopics:

a. It will include the different subtopics of the article; Example: Detail and explain the techniques used, the organism sought, etc. Explain the techniques for example PCR, among others... please do not copy exactly what the original article says. Seek alternate sources of information to understand the methodology.

b. It is the body of the paper - include the results and explain them in detail based on what you understood from them. For example, put the gel and what was found.

c. You can place figures. Remember to cite the source from which you obtained it below the figure.

3. Conclusions: summarize in your opinion the research, and the benefit of this knowledge in the area of Cellular and Molecular Biology.

4. References:

a. Include cited literature

b. CSE format

c. minimum 3 references

d. Do not use internet pages, do not place links, or use Wikipedia.
