In this activity, you will prepare for a video email. Assume that you are an account manager for a new kids' apparel line which you are hoping to sell within Walmart. Use LinkedIn to find someone who would be a good contact within Walmart to talk to, like a buyer, assistant buyer, account manager, Vice President, or merchandising manager over apparel or clothing. Use the 3 x 3 method to make list of three specific talking points that you could use to personalize a video message to them. How would you use these to creatively reach out and grab the attention of the contact you identified?
Write down the title of the person and their role within Walmart. Then write down three sentences (one for each talking point) that demonstrates how the talking point could be used to personalize a message when you reach out to the prospect. For example, "Dave, I read the press release about the merger with Johnson, Inc. This seems like an exciting move for your company..."

Choose your favorite software and assume you are a seller from that software firm. This can be any type of software, such as a computer software, online software, smartphone app, video game, etc. Make up a scenario involving a customer who is likely to purchase that software. Write paragraph that discusses a mock situation with the customer, such was where the customer works, age, gender, etc. Write down three main needs/desires that the customer might have regarding the software. (e.g., easy to use interface, easily interactive with others online)
